British ‘Sunday Roasts’ date back as far as the 15th century when King Henry’s ‘Royal Guard’ began dining on fresh roasted beef every Sunday after church. It soon became a ritual and over the years they became known as the ‘Beefeaters’. Sunday lunch is now a tradition, spent relaxing with the company of family and friends, while tucking into hearty British food.
