The Cawder Course was designed by famous golf course architect, James Braid and measures 6,297 yards with a par of 70. Located just 15 minutes from Glasgow city centre, it nestles in a beautiful piece of countryside where golfers can enjoy relaxed surroundings with stunning views over the Campsie Hills.
The Cawder Course has holes to test even the best golfers. It boasts a mixture of lush fairways, woodland and water features presenting a wonderful test for every standard of golfer. It has a wide variety of holes of differing designs, each presenting new challenges – most notably the picturesque 14th and 15th where water is a main feature… The signature 18th hole, a par three of 209 yards, takes you back downhill towards the clubhouse bringing a wonderful round of golf to a perfect end.
The clubhouse is a category ‘A’ listed building and it boasts many original features with spectacular ceilings and fireplaces. The dining room, with adjacent lounge, overlooks the 18th green or for smaller, more intimate after golf experience, Cawder offers the Oak Bar.
