In a small village in South Lanarkshire, live a herd of ‘South American Camelid’s’. These docile, curious and cheeky animals are more commonly known as Alpacas. At this small family run farm, they breed quality pedigree Alpacas and sell their yarn, raw fleece and fibre art but they also give visitors the opportunity to meet and spend time with these beautiful animals.
Upon arrival at the farm, you’ll meet the experienced staff who will introduce you to the rest of the visitors. They will then take you through a safety talk so that you know how to treat the animals and ensure you get the most out of your time with them.
You will then be introduced to the Alpacas and get the opportunity to spend time getting to know them. During your visit, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to have your picture taken with Campsie Salsa, Norwegian Lass, Bonnie Belle and others. They all have a sweet gentle nature and are very inquisitive which is great for children and it won’t be long before you become great friends with them!
This is a fantastic day out for any animal loving family who are looking to create and share new and unusual memories together.
