Forth Valley tour through Braveheart country
This 45 minutes helicopter scenic tour of the Forth Valley area takes you on a trip around William Wallace country, offering unparalleled views of the Capital city, Forth Bridges, Forth Valley and Stirling.
On the first leg of this trip you will see all that Scotland’s Capital has to offer including Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace and the Scottish Parliament. Flying overhead gives you a unique view on the capitals’ winding streets of the old town and regimented avenues of the new town.
Fly west towards the Firth Of Forth you’ll pass the Victorian Engineering feet that is the Forth Railway Bridge, widely regarded as one of the engineering marvels of the world. You will pass Hopeton House and Linlithgow Palace, Birth Place of Mary Queen of Scots.
Flying along the Ochil hills you’ll arrive at Stirling, historic capital and Royal seat of Scotland. Here you will see the site of the Battle of Bannockburn and the Battle of Stirling Bridge as featured in the film ‘Braveheart’. You will also get breath taking views of Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument that stand high of the carse of Stirling.
