Teen Drive experience, Knockhill

About Your Experience

Visit the home of motor racing in Scotland for this amazing experience. Knockhill in Fife is Scotland’s race track and hosts full throttle adrenaline pumping experiences every day!

New for 2009 the ‘Teen Drive’ experience is great for teenagers between the ages of 13 and 16 to get behind the wheel of a car and learn driving skills and all about cars, in a safe, fun environment. Learning from some of Scotland’s best ADI driving instructors they’ll be put through a 40-minute drive with additional time allocated to all elements of this course.

During the course each participant will receive three practical driving sessions in a dual control car, learning basic control techniques. Depending on skill level this will normally be in first gear but gear changing will be introduced for quick learners. They will also learn driving etiquette and road safety along with vehicle safety checking and how to change a tyre. There will be fun driving challenges, designed to make the most of their time at Knockhill.

At the end of their course they will also receive a passenger thrill ride round famous Knockhill Racing Circuit in one of Knockhill’s powerful track cars, an experience in itself! At the end of the session they will be presented with a personal certificate of completion.

All tuition is carried out in a fun and informative manner ensuring all new drivers go home with a sound understanding and appreciation of driving a car.
