Mini Cooper Cup package

Our newest group experience package is an exciting twist on team building, with an element of competition and one of the coolest new cars on the road. From the Dakota Hotel in South Queensferry (Scottish Hotel of the Year, teams of three travel in the latest model Mini Cooper for a day of orienteering around Fife. The challenge is to work out clues to various locations and take a photo using the camera provided. The team with the most photos wins the Mini Cooper Cup and a star prize.
Orienteering
Each delegate is given a clue sheet which will give away the location of interesting and bizarre items to be photographed during the day. Items include famous golf courses, castles or a person in a kilt! Bonus points are awarded for the more bizarre items on the clues sheet! Maps are provided and telephone support is also on hand.
Helicopter spy mission
As each Mini arrives at Fife airport, the Experience Ecosse helicopter will be waiting to take them to the sky where they will have to find and photograph a secret location. The helicopter flight itself is an amazing experience with unparalleled views around fife and beyond.
Speedboat treasure hunt
On arrival at the furthest point of St Andrews, our speedboat will be waiting at the harbour to take delegates out on a high-speed blast. A secret marker is located out in the North Sea, where a secret marker has treasure submerged under it! The exact location of the marker is provided as GPS coordinates, which the team have to find using the boats equipment.
Awards ceremony
Back at the Dakota Hotel at the end of the day, there will be the opportunity to relax and discuss each adventures round the bar, whilst we add up the points each team has collected. The awards ceremony consists of a champagne reception and presentation of the trophy cup. Each winning delegate will receive the Mini Cooper Cup and a Experience Ecosse gift voucher each.
Catering
A luxury packed lunch is provided by the Caffe Latte Italian coffee shop in Edinburgh and bottled water is provided in the cars for all delegates. Dinner can also be provided at the Dakota Hotel's award winning restaurant (Scottish restaurant of the year 2008) on a set-menu or allowance basis.
