Afternoon tea has been a tradition dating back to the 16th century and throughout Edwardian and Victorian eras grand tea houses were the social focus of the British Empire. Today our busy lives don't leave us much time for such treats, but this experience allows you to stop for long enough to enjoy this delicious experience at one of Glasgow's most famous venues.
A memorable experience for any special occasion, Afternoon Teas are served in the stunning Dinning Room where you’ll be welcomed with a glass of champagne. You may then select your choice of tea or coffee from a varied and noteworthy selection. Tea is served accompanied with hand-cut sandwiches, cakes and a selection of freshly baked patisserie and treats. Special care and time will be taken to ensure your comfort and needs are met throughout the delightful experience.
The Corinthian Club, Glasgow
Built by David Hamilton in 1842 on the site of the 18th century Virginia Mansion, The Corinthian Club is one of Glasgow’s most elaborate and richly decorated buildings both internally and externally. Recently re-opened, this extravagant venue is located in the heart of the city centre just a stones throw from George Square, offering something for everyone and perfect for any special occasion.
