City of Glasgow Helicopter Tour
Taking off from the helipad next to Glasgow International Airport you will immediately climb to 2000 ft where you will experience unparalleled views over Glasgow. Tracking along the River Clyde you will witness Glasgow past, present and future.
Flying east you will initially pass Braehead shopping centre and Paisley on the south bank, whilst on the North bank the now closed ship yards that used to be the mainstay of the local economy. Ahead is the redeveloped Clydeside with the BBC Media Centre, Glasgow Science Centre and Loch Lomond Seaplanes terminal beside the SECC exhibition centre.
As you fly over the city centre witness the world below including cars, trains and people on the city streets. You’ll experience views of Glasgow as never seen before. The regimented streets of central Glasgow bears resemblance to the New York grid system and from above you and really appreciate the similarity. For football fans this tour also includes a fly past of Ibrox and Parkhead stadiums.
Throughout this flight you will receive a friendly and informative commentary from the pilot, through your personal headphones.

Participants: This voucher entitles one person to the experience.
Experience Duration: 15 minutes plus preperation time. Allow 1 hour.
Weather: Can be done in favourable weather conditions.
Restrictions: Min age 3 (under 12 must be accompanied), Max weight 20 stone. Passengers with epilepsy can not fly. Flying subject to weather conditions and air traffic control. Flying season runs March - October.
Spectators: Welcome to observe from the helipad on take off and landing.
