Welcome onboard this helicopter scenic tour of the Campsies, Stirling & the Falkirk Wheel. This helicopter sight seeing trip is an amazing and different way to experience Scotland from above, onboard our luxury helicopter.
Campsies, Stirling & Falkirk Wheel Tour
This tour takes in the best that the lowlands of central Scotland has to offer both old and new. Departing from the helipad we fly to 2000 ft. Flying over the campsie hills that separate the busy central belt with the wild Carse of Stirling you will witness this wildnerness, just minutes from civilisation.
As we fly over the campsie cliffs into the heart of Scotland you’ll arrive at Stirling, historic capital and Royal seat of Scotland. Here you will see the site of the Battle of Bannockburn and the Battle of Stirling Bridge, two of the key battles of the Scottish uprisingon the 13th centuary. You will also get breathtaking views of Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument that stand high of the valley floor.
As the tour turns to the south you’ll experience amazing views up stream towards the highlands in the west and downstream towards the east. It is amazing quite how far you can see on a good day from this altitude, seeing almost from coast to coast. We fly towards Falkirk and the modern structure of the Falkirk Wheel.
The Falkirk wheel is a millennium project to link the Forth and Clyde canals that traverse the country between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The wheel is an impressive structure that carries barges between the two. Flying past the wheel we fly over the trees of the Carron Valley Forrest back to the start point of the trip.
Your friendly pilot will provide a running commentary throughout the trip.

Experience Duration: 15 minutes plus preperation time. Allow 1 hour.
Weather: Can be done in favourable weather conditions.
Restrictions: Min age 3 (under 12 must be accompanied), Max weight 20 stone. Passengers with epilepsy can not fly. Flying subject to weather conditions and air traffic control. Flying season runs March - October.
Spectators: Welcome to observe from the helipad on take off and landing.
