Forth Valley Tour – Braveheart country
As it’s name would suggest, this tour of the Forth Valley area takes you on a trip around William Wallace country, offering unparalleled views of the Capital city, Forth Bridges, Forth Valley and Stirling.
On the first leg of this trip you will see all that Scotland’s Capital has to offer including Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace and the Scottish Parliament, before flying north to Calron Hill, The Salisbury Crags, Leith Docks and the Royal Yacht Britannia. Flying overhead gives you a unique view on the capitals winding streets of the old town and regimented avenues of the new town.
Once you’ve circled Edinburgh, you’ll fly west over the Firth Of Forth. You’ll witness the Victorian Engineering feet that is the Forth Railway Bridge. Opened in March 1890, the bridge is now widely regarded as one of the engineering marvels of the world. You will also fly over the more recent Forth Road Bridge (1964). Flying up river you will pass Hopeton House and Linlithgow Palace, Birth Place of Mary Queen of Scots.
As you fly along the Ochil Hills into the heart of Scotland you’ll arrive at Stirling, historic capital and Royal seat of Scotland. Here you will see the site of the Battle of Bannockburn and the Battle of Stirling Bridge, two of the key battles of the Scottish uprising and featured in the film ‘Braveheart’. You will also get breathtaking views of Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument that stand high of the valley floor.
Throughout this flight you will receive a friendly and informative commentary from the pilot, through your personal headphones.

Experience Duration: 45 minutes plus preperation time. Allow 1.5 hours.
Weather: Can be done in favourable weather conditions.
Restrictions: Min age 3 (under 12 must be accompanied), Max weight 20 stone. Passengers with epilepsy can not fly. Flying subject to weather conditions and air traffic control. Flying season runs April - October.
Spectators: Welcome to observe from the helipad on take off and landing.
