Welcome aboard this amazing extended trial flying lesson experience from Kinloss Barracks, in the heart of the highlands. This experience offers the thrill of actually flying a light aircraft over Scotland!

First there is a 20 minute safety briefing and familiarisation of the aircraft. You’ll be asked if there is anything you want to see specifically in the area for a fly-past as part of your experience. Then you are good to go on your 60 minute flight. Onboard your instructor will do pre-flight checks, start the plane, taxi to the runway and take off.

Once in the air, the plane will climb to around 2000 feet and around 100mph. Once at cruising altitude you will be offered the opportunity to take the controls of the aircraft. Put it though maneuvers such as cruising, climbing and banking, all under the safe supervision of the instructor.

You’ll get amazing panoramic views of the area including landmarks such as Fort George, Urqhart Castle and Loch Ness. The aircraft’s panoramic windows allow you to view the world beneath you. Keep an eye out for nessie!

In the four seater airplane there is the opportunity for observers to fly in the rear seats, whilst you pilot the plane in the front. What better way to experience flying!
