Welcome aboard this amazing light aircraft trial flying lesson experience for two people from Scone Airfield just North of Perth.
After a safety briefing and familiarisation of the aircraft, you’ll taxi to the runway and take off. Perth Scone airport is one of the busiest general aviation (light aircraft) airports in the UK and you’ll all experience the buzz around you. You’ll be able to hear Air Traffic Control and speak with your instructor and amongst yourselves through the aircraft’s radio system.
Once in the air, you’ll get amazing panoramic views of the area including local towns, railways, the motorway and landscape. During your flight you’ll have the opportunity to see landmarks such as Scone Palace, the river Tay, and the city of Perth. The aircraft’s panoramic windows allow you to view right around the world beneath you.
The front experience goer will be able to take the controls of the aircraft, putting it though manoeuvres, all under the safe supervision of the instructor. The 30 minute flight is the ideal duration as an introduction to this great experience.
In the four seater airplane there is the opportunity for an observer to fly in the rear seat whilst you pilot the plane in the front. What better way to experience flying!
