About Your Experience
Get set for an amazing on-track experience at Knockhill Racing Circuit. You’re going to be the passenger in a high-speed Formula-one style racing car. This experience is a great bolt-on to one of our amazing Knockhill Racing Circuit experiences or as an experience in its own right.
The Knockhill ‘Hot Laps’ session allows you to experience the thrill of travelling at high-speed round Knockhill’s track, all under the safe control of our professional racing drivers. Our converted racing car has space for two people with the passenger sitting directly behind the driver. As you set off you’ll feel the pull of the racing engine as you accelerate down the track from standing to 60 mph in only 3 seconds! At unbelievable speed you’ll traverse the twists and turns of the circuit in a way only a car like this can and on the straights it is flat out to speeds pushing 150 mph.
Three laps later and you will be amazed at what this racing car and its driver can do! Walking in a straight line might be a little difficult (as we found!) after the G-forces, acceleration and braking that you experienced just a moment ago.
A great experience for all and especially for those who don’t hold a drivers license. Please note this event is held on weekdays.
