Knockhill Racing circuit in Fife is Scotland's national Motorsport centre and hosts amazing driving experiences and events all year round. Aswell as hosting events like the British Touring Cars, Super Bikes and enthusiast meets like the Hot Hatch Day, there are also a range of exciting driving experiences, which run on and around the circuit.

Choose from the skid control course to the offroad rally stage driving. Popular experiences include 4x4 driving and the single seater racing car driving. There are 27 different options for experiences at Knockhill.

A brief history

The track, initially opened in 1974 is 1.3 miles long and 10 meters wide, created by joining service roads to a nearby disused railway.

Between 1974 and 1983 the circuit went through a number of different managers, all developing facilities and attractions. Between the 80s and now Knockhill has gone through a large range of enhancements to allow it the prestigious position it holds within British motorsport. Today Knockhill boasts a range of facilities from an offroad track, rally stage, fully serviced racing circuit and excellent spectator and participant facilities.

Location

The circuit is located on the A823 in the Fife countryside about 10 miles north of Dunfermline. Driving from the North and East of Scotland leave the M90 at junction 4 and follow signs to the venue. From the West travel across the Kincardine Bridge (M876) and then take the A977, joining the A823 at Powmill. The circuit is well sign posted on all routes.
