About Your Experience
The New Recruit tank driving experience is a great fun activity enabling you to get your hands on a real 18 tonne amy tank! With the rest of the troop in the crew compartment, get into the drivers seat and negotiate obstacles on this custom-built tank driving course.
Geared up in army kit, you will firstly have the opportunity to experience traveling in the hull with your troops. Then it will be your turn to tank the controls under the supervision of the tank commander. Learn how to steer the caterpillars and negotiate steep ascending and descending impossible drops, water courses and mind-boggling manoeuvres!
Our tanks are ex-military and have all seen active service - you will see the bullet holes for yourself! Complete with all-terrain caterpillars, gun turret and armoured body the tank is a true military machine (complete with bullet holes)! See what real soldiers encounter, and all you have to worry about is telling your friends what a great time you had!
You will also act as commander during the experience, standing out of the hatch directly behind the driver before we drop you off at the observation bunker in the centre of the course, where you’ll also have a great opportunity to take some pictures of your comrades!

Participants: This experience entitles one person to the experience.
Experience Duration: Up to 1.5 hrs dependant on no of drivers
Weather: Can be done in all weather conditions,
Restrictions: Minimum driver height is 5 ft and competent. Children passengers aged 5 to 16 must be accompanied
Spectators: Can observe from the track side for free or pay £ 10 child or £ 15 adult to ride in the vehicles.
Validity: This voucher is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
Certificate: The participant receives a certificate at the end of the experience.
