This half day experience will teach you the basic skills to get safely onto the water and enjoy the freedom of sea kayaking, breath taking scenery and local wildlife on on the Firth of Forth.
Upon arrival, you’ll meet with the rest of the group and get kitted out and then get onto the water! This alternative sightseeing experience allows you to explore the wonderful coastline and take in some amazing wildlife along the way.
The Bridges & Inner Islands of the Forth
From either South Queensferry, St Davids Harbour or Aberdour, you have the chance to explore the islands of Inchcolm, Inch Garvie and Cramond. Visit the historic buildings of St Colm’s Abbey and the fortifications used during the world wars. Paddle under the iconic Rail Bridge and meet some of the local wildlife.
From North Berwick, paddle around the islands of Craigleith, Lamb, Fidra and the world famous Bass Rock. Pass under the historic Tantallon Castle and paddle into the smallest harbour in Scotland. This area is full of wildlife such as seals and on the odd occasion, porpoise and dolphins to keep you company.
