Experience the combined thrill of sailing and the adrenalin buzz of motor racing on this land yachting experience. This is the only location to experience land yachting in Scotland where you will be left with many an exciting memory.

First, you’ll receive a full demonstration of how to sail a land yacht before going out to practice controlling the sail and steering the buggy on St Andrews Sands. You’ll be given full tuition from your instructor as your confidence builds and you start sailing faster and faster. You’ll be doing figure of eights before you know it and racing down the beach beside your friends and fellow experience goers.

Land yachts are three wheel buggies with sails that can travel at up to 30 mph in the right conditions and the thrill of racing them at high speed and just inches from the beach is an experience not to be missed.

At the end of the 3 hour experience you’ll both be presented with your certificate of completion and awards for the top land yachters!
