About Your Experience

Swimming with sharks is something adrenaline junkies want to tick off their list and you could get the chance to join the daredevils with this amazing experience. These creatures are stunning and fascinating, being up close to them is an experience that you will never forget.
This full day experience gives great insight to sharks as well as the opportunity to dive and swim with sharks as you dive into the deep shark infested waters for a once in a lifetime experience at Deep Sea World, North Queensferry.
You require to be a PADI qualified diver (Open water and above) to take part in this course. This experience course counts towards the PADI master scuba diver certification.
On this full day course you will learn everything there is to know about sharks, from their biology through to shark conservation.
The course agenda for the day is as follows:
¥ 10.00am - Arrival and registration
¥ 10.15am - Shark Biology lecture
¥ 11.15am - Shark Conservation lecture
¥ 12.00am - Diving With Sharks lecture (Dive Briefing)
¥ 13.15am - Lunch (Provided)
¥ 14.00am – Dive
Friends and family can watch the experience from the comfort of the underwater walkway, with it’s spacious observation areas. Two tickets are included in the price, more can be purchased on the day.
Basic scuba diving training by a PADI qualified instructor will give you the techniques you will need to get the most out of your dive. You will then plunge into the tank to see the huge sand sharks in all their glory as they swim round you in the 4.5million litre tank.
You will get an unbelievable adrenaline rush from this amazing diving experience.
Important information
Please bring warm clothes with you on the day of your dive to wear under your dry suit. We recommend tracksuit bottoms, long sleeved t-shirts and warm socks! You’ll either be given all safety and breathing apparatus or you can bring your own. Please note that if you bring your own equipment, it requires to be in good working order. Deep Sea World reserves the right to refuse the use of your own equipment if deemed necessary. Your safety is of paramount importance throughout the experience. Please download the PADI safety questionnaire which you require to take with you (included in the voucher pack also).

Participants: This voucher entitles one person to the experience.
Experience Duration: Full day experience, 2 hour dive.
Weather: Indoors, Can be done in all weather conditions.
Restrictions: You require to be a PADI qualified diver. Please refer to important information above. Minimum age 16. You must have logged a dive within 6 months of your prior dive date.
Spectators: Welcome to observe from the underwater observation area. Tickets purchased on the day.
